All 16 TGH Urgent Care powered by Fast Track locations receive accreditation for excellence in healthcare and are recognized by the Urgent Care Association Antibiotic Stewardship Award.
Tampa, Fla., November 8, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — Tampa General Hospital’s network of emergency care centers, known as TGH Urgent Care powered by Fast Track, has again received the highest award for emergency care centers – accreditation from the Urgent Care Association (UCA). Accreditation means that all TGH Urgent Care powered by Fast Track locations have met the UCA’s established standards and criteria for quality of patient care, safety and scope of service.

In addition to being reaccredited, TGH Urgent Care powered by Fast Track has also been awarded the UCA Antibiotic Stewardship Commendation (ASC). This program requires emergency centers to demonstrate that they adhere to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Antibiotic Stewardship Principles.
Antibiotic stewardship is the endeavor to measure and improve how antibiotics are prescribed by doctors and used by patients. The CDC Principles provide a framework for emergency centers to demonstrate their commitment to improving antibiotic use and improving patient safety and outcomes.

- X-ray and EKG on site
