Digital India Recruitment 2022: Application was invited for the Database Administrator, Developer (PHP) and Designer (Web/UI) Positions in Digital India Corporation. Digital India Corporation was established by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Government of India to innovate, develop and deploy ICT and other new technologies for the benefit of the common man. The selected candidate will be assigned to the DoPT project on a contract basis in the relevant position and location of posting in New Delhi.

Digital India 2022 Recruitment Qualification

1. Database Administrator – BE/MSc. /MCA with more than 3 years of development experience.

2. Developer (PHP) – BE/MSc./MCA with more than 3 years experience in development.

3. Designers (Web/UI) – Bachelor’s degree with at least 3 years of post-qualified experience in web and UI design.

Digital India 2022 Recruitment Qualification Requirements

1. Database Administrator

I. Proven professional experience as a database administrator

ii. Hands-on experience with database standards and end-user applications

iii. Excellent knowledge of data backup, recovery, security, integrity and SQL

IV. Familiarity with database design, documentation and coding

v. Previous experience with DBA case tools (frontend/backend) and third party tools

vi. Familiarity with programming languages ​​API

vii. Problem solving skills and the ability to think algorithmically

2. Developer (PHP)

I. Professional experience in Codeigniter-3.0+, PHP, Laravel

ii. Professional experience with open source such as Drupal, Joomla, WordPress

iii. Working experience with web technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, JQuery etc.

IV. Working experience with relational databases, version control tools and developing web services with REST and SOAP architecture

3. Designers (Web/UI)

I. Basic knowledge of HTML5/CSS3 and JavaScript.

ii. Knowledge of Responsive HTML with bootstraps and less CSS.

iii. Knowledge of Angular5 and higher.

IV. Basic knowledge of Vue. and JQuery framework.

v. Knowledge of UI frameworks like Bootstrap, Material

Digital India 2022 Recruitment Roles and Responsibilities

1. Database Administrator

I. Build database systems with high availability and quality depending on the specialized role of each end user

ii. Design and implement a database in accordance with the end user’s information needs and views

iii. Define users and enable data distribution to the right user, in the right format and in a timely manner

IV. Use high-speed transaction and backup data recovery techniques

v. Minimize database downtime and manage parameters to provide fast query responses

vi. Provide users with proactive and reactive data management support and training. Establish, enforce, and document database policies, procedures, and standards. Conduct regular testing and assessments to ensure data security, privacy, and integrity. Monitor database performance, implement changes, and apply new patches and versions as needed

2. Developer (PHP)

I. Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle for development

ii. Create detailed specifications of the system

iii. Fix, test and maintain core product software and databases to ensure strong optimization and functionality

IV. Develop design models based on requirements documents.

3. Designers (Web/UI)

I. Develop new user-centric features and/or make changes to existing features to improve them.

ii. Translation of UI/UX wireframes into visual elements

iii. Convert Photoshop design layouts to HTML/CSS design.

IV. Creation of responsive layouts and cross-browser troubleshooting.

v. Optimizing web assets for optimal speed and performance.
