That’s why we’re looking forward to the Volvo S60 2023

The S60 off Volvo is a high-end compact sedan with an emphasis on comfort and design. The S60 has a stylish and well-designed cabin, some of the most supportive and comfortable seats in its class, and some of the best-executed modern driver aids on the market.

The power is provided by the B5 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbo engine with mild hybrid support or the T8, a plug-in hybrid with turbocharging and supercharging on a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine.

Volvo has given the S60 a small exterior style update for 2023. Most of the modifications are visible on the front and rear bumpers, although new wheel designs are also available.

The interior of the S60 features Volvo’s latest infotainment system. This relatively small and Google-designed system is exceptional in the industry and has excellent speech recognition in addition to simple menu navigation.

The 2023 Volvo S60 features a premium Volvo infotainment system

The Volvo S60 now includes an infotainment system with Google applications and services. This next-generation infotainment system is intuitive and comfortable. It offers consumers unprecedented customization and connection, further enhanced with the Digital Services package.

At the heart of the Digital Services package is access to Google applications and services, including hands-free support with the Google Assistant, premium navigation via Google Maps and a diverse selection of native in-car apps via Google Play.

Volvo says Apple CarPlay and Android Auto will come as standard. An optional Bowers & Wilkins premium audio system will also be available.

The S60 will be able to receive major operating system and software upgrades over the air from the 2023 model year.

The Volvo S60 2023 has a classy, revised exterior for the 2023 model year

Rather than completely redesigning the body of the Volvo S60 sedan, the 2023 upgrade focuses on improving the futuristic looks of the current Volvo S60 sedan. Volvo wouldn’t want to jeopardize its already perfect design.

Volvo Cars has instead focused on refining the existing aesthetic elements, with the sleek roof and sweeping body lines already looking as contemporary as possible.

A redesigned front and rear bumper and some sporty new wheel options are part of the aesthetic upgrade. Despite the modest changes, the bumpers of the Volvo S60 now appear much curvier. For an even more streamlined overall aesthetic, the rear fascia should have an integrated exhaust tailpipe design.

When this improved model in the Volvo range goes on sale, you can expect slightly redesigned, sharper front air intakes and new wheels to customize your vehicle. A press photo of a showcase design shows an unusual wheel design.

It features carved aerodynamic fins that form a six-spoke design. Volvo assumes that this wheel option will be known for the new Volvo S60.

The 2023 Volvo S60 is a smooth and quiet ride

The non-hybrid Volvo S60 2023 is powered by a 260 hp turbocharged four-cylinder engine with front-wheel or all-wheel drive options.

The Recharge plug-in hybrid with four-wheel drive only increases to 400 hp. The most technologically advanced Recharge Polestar Engineered is even crazier.

The latter is rated at 415 horsepower and 494 pound-feet of torque. The Polestar version is only available as part of a Care by Volvo subscription package and includes adjustable dampers and special 19-inch alloy wheels.

The higher-end trim levels of the 2023 Volvo S60 handle really well. On the winding roads, the steering shows excellent cornering grip and is quick and precise.

Due to its smoother driving characteristics compared to sportier options like the Alfa Romeo Giulia and BMW 3 Series, the more basic 2023 Volvo S6O model is slower when going up against four-cylinder rivals.

The Volvo S60 2023 is smooth and quiet to drive and luxurious too

Inside the S60, where luxurious materials abound and exceptional attention to detail is on display, Volvo proudly displays excellent build quality. The design is unmistakably innovative with embellishments like jeweled switchgear and incredibly plush chairs.

It has luxury amenities. These include a head-up display, massaging front seats, ambient interior lighting, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and more. Rear seat passengers will appreciate the generous legroom and headroom. You will also appreciate the supportive and comfortable bucket seats provided for the front-seat passengers.

While all of this storage space is small, interior storage is accented by usable door pockets, a center console with tray and retractable cover, and a handy under-armrest bin. In addition, passengers can fit five pieces of hand luggage in the boot of the S60, just one less than the 3 Series.

The car is impressive. Not only Volvo fans are looking forward to it, we are too.
