Chase Ultimate Rewards® adds the Air Canada Aeroplan loyalty program to its list of point transfer partners | business

Today, Chase, the largest US co-branded card issuer, and Air Canada, Canada’s largest airline and a founding member of the Star Alliance, are offering eligible Ultimate Rewards credit card members a new option to use their points with Aeroplan as the newest Chase Ultimate partner to transfer Reward points.

Starting today, eligible Chase cardholders can transfer Ultimate Rewards points to Aeroplan and redeem them for travel and flight awards with Air Canada and its more than 40 airline partners, including the entire Star Alliance network. Eligible Chase cardholders now have access to 14 leading airline and hotel loyalty programs through Ultimate Rewards.

Eligible Chase cardholders, including Chase Sapphire Reserve SM, Chase Sapphire Preferred ® and Ink Business Preferred SM, can now transfer Ultimate Rewards points to their Aeroplan account in increments of 1,000 at the full 1: 1 value – one Ultimate Rewards point is therefore equal to one Airplane Point. Aeroplan awards can be used on flights to more than 1,300 destinations around the world. Notable features include:

  • Points redeemable for every seat on every Air Canada flight and for travel with over 40 airline partners;
  • Countless ways to create trips, including the ability to add a stopover to an international itinerary for as little as 5,000 points;
  • Aeroplan members can collect and redeem points and enjoy premium benefits when they book a scenic train journey with Rocky Mountaineer;
  • Aeroplan Family Sharing, which makes it easy for families to summarize points – free of charge – to get to their destination faster;
  • Flexible options for paying for all or part of a trip with points and worry-free planning with Aeroplan’s Points Predictor Tool ™.
